Below is an example of a typical Duty Belt and related equipment used by the Colorado Mounted Rangers™. All equipment is bought by the individual Ranger (except the radio) and is the rangers property.  Equipment can be of a variety of models and types.  Duty belts can be nylon or leather but all accessories must match, either all nylon or all leather.  If leather the belt and accessories must match, either all plain or all basket weave leather.

1. Spare magazines for weapon, or speed loaders if carrying a revolver
2. Magazine holder, or speed loader holder if carrying a revolver
3. ASP Expandable Baton**
4. ASP Expandable Baton case
5. Flashlight
6. Lockblade knife
7. Duty belt, leather or nylon
8. Magazine in weapon; all magazines loaded with hollowpoint ammo
